2024 FLCA Canada Day Kids Fishing Derby

Despite Mother Nature, the kids were out fishing on the lake, on docks and from the boat launch Sunday morning! Despite the cool spring-like weather complete with rain, our fisher kids were out at 8 am on Sunday morning July 29, and a few managed to catch some fish. But from all reports, even those that didn’t had a lot of fun!

Our sincere thanks for all those who participated not only in the fishing but later on for the BBQ! Cool but no rain by the afternoon and our thanks again to the Dales for hosting, to all the “helpers” for another successful event, the sponsors for the wonderful prizes and the food, and to Heather Kertzer and Paul Breslin for the Photo Contest! It truly “takes a village”!
