An opportunity to gather in community spirit! FLCA members Rob and Bev Macdonald have been doing road clean up on the west side of the lake (Farlain Lake Road West and Allport Road) under the “Adopt a Road” umbrella for the past twenty years. The Township has recently dissolved that program and has initiated a new one called Community Clean Up that operates under a similar premise. Currently two clean ups per year are done, one in the spring and the second in the fall. Assistance is required for Farlain Lake Road East, Andrew Drive, Timcourt Drive and Lakeview Crescent. It would be great to spruce up our mailbox areas as well. We will be doing the fall clean up within the next few weeks, date to be announced once we have enough participants.
