Events

Bringing people together to have fun and get to know each other helps to build community – one of our key priorities.  Over the past decade, FLCA social activities have included Boat Parades, picnics, a “Weed Fest” to raise funds for the Eurasian Watermilfoil management project, Kids Fishing Derby and BBQ, and our Annual General Meeting.

We’re also always looking for more ideas to help build community and volunteers to help organize these activities so if you have an “event planner” in you just waiting to get out, we’d love to hear from you!  Check out the pages under this section for information about FLCA’s events and also links and information about events being held in the surrounding municipalities that may be of interest to you and your family through the summer season such as the Best Butter Tart Festival in Ontario!
