2025 AGM Was Held on Wednesday August 6, 2025 via Webinar

In addition to the usual reports from the Board, etc., the meeting included the following 3 special presentations:

Katy MacKay, Senior Park Naturalist, Awenda Provincial Park, Ontario Parks, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks
Learn about the iNaturalist app – what it is, how it applies to Farlain Lake and how you can use it.
Jeremy Holden, Fisheries Population Specialist, Southern Biodiversity and Monitoring Section, Provincial Services Division, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry
Gill net testing, undertaken every 5 years by the MNRF to monitor the fish population in Farlain Lake, is tentatively scheduled for July 22. Learn more about this important program and the results.
